Terms of sale

One written report about one set of face measurements, for $4.99, paid once. It is a digital document shown on this site, built from numbers your own browser computed from a photo you chose. It also includes six optional hairstyle visuals: on the report page, you can choose a new portrait and explicitly agree to send it to a third-party AI image service for image generation. Those visuals are subject to the acceptable-use rules below.

Charged in US dollars. If your card is in another currency your bank converts it and may add a fee, so your statement will show a different number. The price is set in US dollars for everyone, rather than in the local currency of wherever this is run from.

It is not a subscription, a trial, a credit pack or a membership. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. You will not be charged again unless you come back and buy another report on purpose.

Immediately. The report opens as soon as the payment goes through, at a link with a one-off key in it. There is no queue, no email to wait for and no account to create, and the link is the only thing needed to open it.

Keep the link. Your browser also remembers it on the device you bought from, and Stripe sends you a receipt. If all three are lost, write to hello@measureface.com from the address on your receipt and it can be found by hand.

Consumers in the UK, the EU and some other places normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content delivered immediately, that right only falls away if you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you are giving the right up. That is what the checkbox at checkout is for, and it is why the report opens straight away rather than after a wait.

We then give it back voluntarily. The paragraph below is the actual position, and it is more generous than the waiver you agreed to.

Ask within 14 days and you get your money back. No questions, no form, no reason needed. Write to hello@measureface.com and say you want a refund. That is the whole procedure.

When a refund is processed the report link stops working, because you have been paid back for it. The measurements behind it are deleted on the same request if you ask for that too.

After 14 days, write anyway. If something was broken, or the report did not do what this site said it would, it will be refunded.

30 days from purchase. After that the measurements behind it are deleted and the link stops working. This is a retention limit rather than a rental period: we would rather not hold your measurements indefinitely, and the report itself is a document you can save or print while you have it.

You can also delete it sooner, yourself, at any point, from the control on the privacy page. That is immediate and permanent, and it will not be refused or delayed.

Held, for 30 days: about a kilobyte of measurement numbers, and a one-way hash of your report link. That is the whole record.

Not held by MeasureFace: your source photograph, the 478 landmark points taken from it, any outline or contour of your face, your name, your email address, or any account. Stripe handles the payment and your email for the receipt; they are the record of the sale. The full explanation is on the privacy and biometric notice. If you opt into the hairstyle visual, the portrait is checked by an automated content screen and then temporarily processed by a third-party AI image service under its own service terms; MeasureFace retains no source-photo copy.

It is for styling and curiosity. It is not medical, dental, orthodontic or cosmetic advice, it is not a diagnosis, and nothing in it should be used to decide on a procedure. The paid report does not score or rank your looks and it never will. The free attractiveness test shows a geometric facial harmony score, explained in the next section.

The face shape classifier is experimental and has never been checked against professionally labelled photographs, because no such dataset exists for this taxonomy that we could use. The report says so in its own pages, along with everything else it declines to tell you. Buying it does not buy a guarantee that a label is correct; it buys the measurements, what they support, and an honest account of what they do not.

The attractiveness test shows a 0 to 100 facial harmony score. It is a weighted summary of three geometric measurements against a reference set of 43 AI-generated faces, with weights this site chose and publishes. It is not a measure of your attractiveness or worth, it is not a finding about your health, and it can change between two photos of the same face. Do not use it to decide on a procedure or to judge yourself or anyone else.

Hair, glasses, neckline and collar suggestions are general styling directions. Hair and glasses come from your measurements; necklines and collars are stylist convention for a face shape, and the sources for them disagree in places. They are offered as ideas to try, not as instructions, and no outcome from following them is promised.

The free tools are provided as they are, at no charge. If a paid report disappointed you because of anything on these pages, the refund above applies to it in full.

• Adults only. You must be 18 or older to use MeasureFace. Upload only photos of yourself, or of another adult who has agreed to it.
• No sexual or nude content. Do not upload, or try to create, nude, sexual or sexually suggestive images. That includes AI-generated images.
• Nothing involving minors. Any sexual content involving anyone under 18 is forbidden, without exception, and will be reported where the law requires it. Photos that look like they show someone under 18 may be refused.
• No deepfakes, impersonation or borrowed faces. Do not use another person's face without their permission, do not pretend to be someone else, and do not upload photos of public figures or celebrities unless you have their consent. The hairstyle visuals are for trying a look on your own face, not for making deepfakes.

We may use automated screening, manual review, or both, to refuse uploads and generated images that break these rules. Not every upload or output is checked, and checks can miss things. A refused photo is not used and nothing you paid for is used up; repeated attempts to break these rules can lose access to the visuals.

To ask us to remove an image that shows you or breaks these rules, email hello@measureface.com with "Removal request" in the subject line. We act on removal requests within 48 hours.
